The United Kingdom is providing substantial support to the Women’s Legal Resources Centre (WOLREC), the Girls Empowerment Network, and Human Rights for Women and Girls with Disabilities as part of its flagship ‘What Works to Prevent Violence Programme.’ This initiative aims to seamlessly integrate gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response measures from local communities to the national political landscape.
In alignment with Women and Girls Strategy, United Kingdom recognizes the pivotal role that women’s rights organizations play in eradicating gender-based violence. The commitment remains steadfast in collaboration with these organizations to establish a future where all women and girls can lead lives free from violence.
