With funding JesuitenWeltweit Deutschland, JCED has supported Mchenga community in Phalombe with a new borehole and rehabilitated three boreholes in Chiradzulu which were damaged following the Cyclone Freddy .Both the borehole drilling and the borehole rehabilitation process engaged the communities and the government as key stakeholders.
JCED officials led by Fr. Charles Chilufya, the Director of JENA -Jesuit Justice &Ecology Network Africa handed over the borehole to the community.
