In efforts to work towards a green clean world and win the fight against Climate change, Malawi Scotland Partnership has formed it’s Climate Change Young Leaders Alumni Network Committee.

The committee that comprises young climate change leaders who were trained by MaSP from 2018 with support from Scottish Government based 2050 Climate Group, will amplify the voice of young people on issues to do with climate change.

Robert Chimoto From Lilongwe, was voted chairperson, Alfred Namwera the committee’s Treasure General while Cosmas Nakoma was elected a the secretary deputized by Whitney Khunga

According to Hendricks Nkhata who is the Project’s coordinator the Young leaders Alumni Network Committee will take action through influencing policy makers, engaging with their communities and developing initiatives which will create long-lasting change towards a sustainable future for Malawi.

Climate Change Young Leaders Project aimed at equiping young Malawians with opportunities to increase their knowledge on climate change challenges and develop the skills necessary to tackle them.

MaSP in collaboration with 2050 Climate Group have been implementing the Malawi Climate Leaders’ Project since September 2018.
