Malawi Scotland Partnership on Friday successfully trained its member organization on basics of resource mobilization.The three-day online training, MaSP took its members to a basic journey through the most essential stages of resource mobilization. From practical resource mobilization plans, through effective donor negotiations and proposals.
About 60 people representing 60 organizations joined the noble exercise that commenced on Wednesday. According to stella Masangano, MaSP Chief Executive officer the training has also helped member organization to understand modalities for resource mobilization. “The training has also helped our member organization to understand all possible modalities, instruments and channels available to mobilize resources,” said Masangano.
On her part MaSP Projects Manager Linda Dembo expressed optimism that the training will change a lot of things in operations of member organizations. We will be able to follow up if at all the training made an impact, but am very optimistic that a lot will change in positive way in operations of our member organizations. Facilitators Patrick Chimutu and Andrew Gwambe from Andy and Frank Consulting Service led the three days training.
